Holistic Healing
Whether you are experiencing a personal crisis, have ongoing issues that you would like addressed (i.e. problematic interpersonal relationships, stress or depression) or feel it is time to enhance your life experience; you can benefit from holistic counselling. The initial session will involve sharing your story and background with a qualified and experienced counsellor, who will then guide you through the emotional and psychological wounds or difficulties you are experiencing on your life journey. You will learn relaxation techniques and how to use a combination of your conscious mind, unconscious mind (spirit) and body, to access spiritual lessons that can heal damage from the past, allow your authentic Self to emerge and guide you toward a happier and more fulfilling future.
Jungian Sandplay
In this 90 minute soul-centred session you will be guided through a process of free, creative play with a selection of miniature three dimensional objects you will choose, symbolising aspects of your life, situation or issue needing clarity. This process will help you to become “the witness” to your current situation, allowing you to see your life from a more objective (or conscious) perspective, where you can gain insights and challenge any unconscious tendencies, beliefs, needs or fears that may arise.
Therapeutic Tarot
Tarot cards are used in counselling as a tool for helping you experience personal insight and self-awareness in the “here and now” (not for predicting your future through clairvoyant means). These 90 minute sessions will give you an opportunity to use your unconscious mind to experience synchronicity at work as you to choose the ten Osho Zen tarot cards and place them in the Celtic Cross formation. The images in the cards you have chosen will be symbolic of aspects of your life that need to be brought into your conscious awareness. You will explore both the personal significance of the images and the universal or archetypal meaning, to seek the spiritual (or unconscious) lessons they carry for you.
Therapeutic Dream Work
When we dream, we enter an altered state of consciousness where our unconscious mind is free to project (and therefore present us with) images and metaphors without interference from the rational, logical part of our mind (which is why many dreams are so confusing and illogical!). In the therapeutic setting, we use these images and metaphors to explore (often shadow) aspects of our psyche that we need to take a look at for personal and spiritual growth, rather than as predictions of future events. During these sessions, you will work with a counsellor to explore both the personal significance of these images and metaphors and the universal or archetypal meaning in order to seek the spiritual (or unconscious) messages they carry for you.
Telephone Counselling
While face-to-face counselling sessions enable a more personalised service, sometimes this is not possible if there are emotional, physical or geographical barriers. Fortunately, there are other options available when you are seeking assistance with difficulties that arise in your life, including telephone counselling. We offer an impartial, confidential, caring and supportive service for you to feel safe enough to share your story, personal problems and experiences and help you through this challenging time in your life.
